The restaurant is quite large with many tables available.
Having booked at the last moment, we had a table on the veranda (which, however, was quite comfortable).
We ordered mixed bruschettas, pizzas and a mixed grill.
Bruschetta arrived after a very short time. Not bad.
Very good grilled food, even if the grilled vegetables taken as a side dish were cold.
Regarding the pizzas, good (particularly the ingredients) but the dough is a bit "biscuit" (particularly the crust).
Service quite attentive (even if pizzas arrived well after the barbecue).
Medium-low prices.

On December 3rd we had lunch with friends at this very nice place in Caselle in Pittari. It wasn't the first time I've been there and as always I was very satisfied with both the food and the service. A rich appetizer, then tagliatelle with mushrooms, pumpkin and sausage, two exquisite meat steaks (Galician), side dishes, all accompanied by a delicious primitivo from Manduria. Then desserts, grappa, bitters and more. Everything simply excellent. A guarantee for those who want to pamper themselves at the table. . Compliments
From Lecce to Caselle in Pittari for a weekend, place recommended by a pastry shop of local friends, we were super happy, recommended place for an excellent and delicious pizza, they also do grilled meat served on lava stone, exceptional appetizers and plentiful... Fast and attentive service, very friendly owner who also complimented us with bitters and limoncello. Affordable prices. Super recommended place.
If you are in Policastro, Scario or surrounding areas, you can't help but stop by Caselle in Pittari and eat at Sceriffo.
The place is very nice and at the entrance you can also take photos sitting on horse saddle-shaped stools and wearing cowboy hats.
The food is all very good and above all local, truly 0 km, with traditional Cilento peasant dishes.
The service is fast and the staff is very kind and professional, explaining each dish that is served.
Finally, I point out many meats of different qualities that can be chosen to eat on the grill.
Very simple but tidy, clean and functional rustic place. We ate very, very good pizza, a good, tasty and crunchy dough at the right point. Very efficient, fast and polite service. They are all guys but they work really well. Excellent ingredients.
The local specialty is the grilled meat which they bring to your table while still piping hot and "sizzling". A steak that gives off a scent to the whole restaurant 😃.
However, a good place to eat good pizza, good meat and many other really good things. Try the appetizers which are spectacular just to look at.
The only flaw is that the curtains are ugly 😁
But they have nothing to do with food 😃
A ranch atmosphere for this hillside restaurant, we are in fact almost 500 m above sea level (sweatshirts are recommended even on August evenings). Busy place, but very large. Excellent pizza cooked in a wood oven. Prices in line with the South. Courteous staff.
Typical pizzeria restaurant where you can taste traditional dishes, home-made appetizers with seasonal vegetables and cured meats, first and second courses based on meat and vegetables, good pizza made in a wood-fired oven. Prices are fair and adequate. The staff is kind and courteous.
